An open checklist for the ASX cash session

The ASX open compresses emotion into a few minutes. Our intensive students use a short checklist so the first impulse does not rewrite the daily map.

1. Where is the prior day’s high, low, and approximate value area relative to the overnight print?
2. Did overnight trade already break a daily swing, or merely probe it?
3. What single invalidation would cancel a continuation idea in the first half hour?

If you cannot answer those without indicators, stay flat. Indicators can wait until structure is stated. Several client stories on our reviews page mention that boredom at the open felt uncomfortable at first — and protected them from chasing the opening print.
