Mapping liquidity before the London handover

For many Dev Frame clients trading FX in the Australian evening, London’s arrival reprices the Asian range. Before that handover, mark equal highs and lows that formed while liquidity was thin. Those clusters often become magnets once European desks lean in.

We do not treat every equal high as a destiny. We treat it as a draw worth respecting in the plan: either price is likely to visit it before expanding, or a failure to reach it tells you something about urgency. In private reviews we often find traders shorting midway through the Asian box without naming the liquidity they expect London to chase first.

Try a pre-handover checklist: Asian high/low, any obvious stop run levels, and the higher-timeframe swing still in force. Keep it to three marks. If you need seven, you are negotiating with the chart instead of reading it.
